Life WATERREUSE project will open the Industrial Water Management Lectures at the World Forum and 31st Leading International Fair for the Process Industry, Achema 2015, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. With nearly 170.000 attendees, from 100 countries, is the largest Show within the Chemical and Process Industries in Europe. The project aims to apply, validate and disseminate a sustainable system to reuse process water from industry with high organic loads. It tries to set a definitive solution to unsolved problems of application for recommended Best Available Techniques on this type of waste, and it has being tested on chemical and food companies, both with strict European regulations regarding emissions. These are currently fulfilled in some cases at high costs and inefficient technologies. Achieving reductions of the 100% of the Total Suspension Solids and the organic load on effluents, it allows water reuse of streams. The system reduces water consumption and Carbon footprint. It is easily transferable to other industries: Canned and Food, as dairy and pickles, Fine Chemicals, as pharmaceuticals, dyes and pigments, pesticides and agrochemicals, as well as Landfill Leachate, all of them with high production of organic waste. It could also be of high interest to treat urban wastewaters from small size village. This event will take place at the Hall Forum, Level 0 in room Analog, within the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt, on June 16th, at 12:30 pm.
