Natura 2000 day and LIFE program will be celebrated at Alam-Pedja Natura 2000 area in Estonia. Event is organised in a cooperation with the Nature conservation society of the students and will be held at the project site of the LIFE Nature project Happyriver on the floodplain of rivers Emajõgi and Laeva. Also, the visit is opened for the wider public and the nature friends, who will arrive the site on the historical river vessel barge Jõmmu from Tartu (http://www.lodi.ee/tule-laevasoidule/uksikuritajale/tartust-kareverre). The experts of Wildlife Estonia will introduce the Natura 2000 and LIFE programs policy, history and achievements. We will visit the beautiful, springy Emajõgi River floodplain and the Laeva River, what will be restorated and re-connected with the Emajõgi in it's natural bed. We hope to make a beutiful evening at Alam-Pedja!
