LIFE Activa Red Natura 2000 (LIFE11 INF/ES/000665)
The aim of the Natura 2000 Day Promotion Campaign is to make the public aware of the increasing rewards and advantages in Europe from the Natura 2000 Network. In order to further the positive publicity, the Campaign requests citizens to make a gesture for Natura 2000 sites by sending us their photos making the shape of a butterfly with their hands to www.natura2000day.eu or through social networks with the hashtag #Natura2000day.
The Natura 2000 Day is based on a viral social media campaign and tha claim is: `The flutter of a butterfly’s wings can change the world´
In 2015, more than 100 activities are going to be developed in 60 cities. These activities can be found in the attached document.
